I am Joeri Pruys, independent Dutch filmmaker. Roundhay Garden Scene is my production company. I make short films and commercial videos.
Short films
Sad and funny, slick and gritty, pretty and ugly, lucid and jumbled. I like to make films that combine opposite attributes. Beauty, morality, nerves and story should always be on the verge of breaking down.

Commercial work
My commercial projects include live music registration, corporate promos and interviews. Projects related to music are my main interest, as well as projects with technical challenges.

Other activities
I am involved as a producer in Rotterdam, I Love You, an international feature film that is part of the ‘Cities of Love’ film series.
Furthermore, I am a lecturer in Digital Filmmaking at the SAE Institute Rotterdam (Diploma and BA level)
